I’m sure I’m not the only GM who likes to make use of existing city maps for their campaigns rather than creating their own. I’m not denying there are occasions when it can really help to have a custom made map, but in a lot of cases it seems like re-inventing the wheel – I don’t know about you but I’m continually cutting it close to the deadline with my adventures, so I count anything which saves me time as a good thing!

We don’t tend to cover DDO on this site, but we do play it and we receive lots of hits from people looking for information regarding this great game, so it only seems fair to give it a bit of coverage. By far the most pressing question seems to be “Is Dungeons and Dragons online free to play?”. Jormungand is one of the three children begot by Loki, god of  mischief and lies, and his giant mistress Angrboda. Odin, the all  father, upon seeing this abomination declared it to dangerous to let  live, and cast it down from Asgard, home of the gods, to the great ocean of Midgard (earth). But the fall did not slay the beast as Odin claimed it would.
